LAURA CORBETT

Laura first joined the DicksonWright Lawyers team in 2018 as a Law Clerk. In 2019 Laura graduated from the University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Business (Management). She obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the College of Law in 2020.

In early 2020 Laura was admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of South Australia.

Laura is experienced in drafting and advising in matters relating to wills and estate planning, ranging from straightforward estates to complex testamentary trusts.  She is also experienced in family law, including parenting disputes, divorce applications and property settlements. Laura practices in personal injury matters relating to motor vehicle accidents, public liability, medical negligence and victims of crime compensation. She also practices in criminal law, frequently making appearances across the various Magistrates’ Court locations in South Australia.

Laura takes pride in her client-focused approach and negotiation skills to achieve the best possible outcome for her clients. She is a current member of the Law Society of South Australia and is on the Young Lawyer’s Committee.
